Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist passionate about making a direct impact in a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based role offers the chance to work in an engaging school setting near Greenwood, SC, with flexible scheduling and robust professional support.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina SLP License required
  • South Carolina Teaching Certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
  • Background in school-based speech therapy services
  • Pediatric experience (school-aged children)
  • Skills in supporting students with speech and language impairments
  • Familiarity with AAC devices is desirable

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
