Exciting opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist passionate about making a direct impact in a supportive school environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract-based role offers the chance to work in an engaging school setting near Greenwood, SC, with flexible scheduling and robust professional support.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP License required
- South Carolina Teaching Certification required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Background in school-based speech therapy services
- Pediatric experience (school-aged children)
- Skills in supporting students with speech and language impairments
- Familiarity with AAC devices is desirable
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide accurate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Maintain up-to-date records of student progress and interventions
