Qualifications and Experience:
- Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants will be considered
- Experience within school-based, healthcare, or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and management of a range of speech/language disorders
- Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and engaging with families and educators
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services onsite to a secondary school caseload, supporting students communication and language development
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education coordinators, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assess students for speech/language disorders
- Document progress, provide regular updates to the school team and families, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
- Pursue opportunities for continued learning and growth through professional development
