Step into a dynamic educational environment near Indianapolis, IN, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a meaningful difference each day. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential speech-language servicesprimarily focusing on evaluations within a vibrant school community. Youll work onsite, collaborating closely with a dedicated SLP colleague who supports nonverbal students, ensuring a comprehensive approach to speech and language development.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct detailed speech-language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 5070 students.
- Collaborate with fellow SLP staff and work alongside another professional supporting nonverbal, life skills-focused students.
- Develop individualized plans based on assessment outcomes.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to support educational goals.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all district and professional standards.
Qualifications we are seeking include:
- A valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Previous experience with school-based speech-language services is highly valued.
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy school setting.
This position offers an engaging work schedule of 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the academic year (August 3, 2026June 1, 2027). In addition to professional growth opportunities, this contract includes a benefits package.
