This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Experience working in educational settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP preparation and progress tracking
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse student populations, families, and team members
- Sound organizational and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students speech, language, and communication skills to determine eligibility for school-based services
- Write and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
- Provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups
- Develop, participate in, and attend IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and communications
- Consult with educators to support classroom integration of therapeutic goals
- Educate families on supportive strategies and progress updates
