Step into an engaging opportunity as a contract Speech Language Pathologist supporting elementary students in a dynamic school setting near Greenville, SC. In this onsite role, you'll have a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality services to a manageable caseload of approximately 45 students per week, working between 35-40 hours.
Ideal candidates possess expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and thrive in collaborative educational environments. Your passion for helping children succeed will shine as you assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans designed to support communication and language growth. Both ASHA-certified SLPs and professionals completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) will be considered for this rewarding assignment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certification (CCC) or are in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and write detailed assessment reports
- Develop and implement student-specific therapy plans and IEP goals
- Engage in regular collaboration with educators, families, and school staff
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise as part of a supportive team
