Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience in school settings, including pediatric caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to conduct assessments and design effective therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language disorders
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student goals
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Offer expertise during IEP meetings and serve as a valuable resource for school teams
