Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting school-aged children as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position is open to both virtual and in-person SLPs who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in students lives. Working part-time at 25 hours per week, youll engage directly with students, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help shape brighter futures from now through June 2026.
Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC certification (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Comfortable providing teletherapy or in-person speech services
- Proficient with conducting assessments and writing comprehensive evaluation reports
- Strong documentation skills, including experience developing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and educational staff
- Active and valid state licensure (or eligibility) required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the best approach for each individual
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Write clear, effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using district tools
- Communicate progress with students, staff, and families to ensure goals are met
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
