Job Description

A K-12 school in Greenville, IL, is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to provide specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population within a supportive educational environment. The role requires delivering onsite therapy and working closely with students, families, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 50-60 students with a variety of speech and language disabilities across district schools within a compact geographic area.
  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students from various grade levels within the K-12 spectrum.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance with district and state regulations.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy using both traditional and teletherapy methods as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL) with an SLP endorsement.
  • Experience working in school settings, including familiarity with pediatric speech and language disorders.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (preferred).
  • Ability to manage a districtwide caseload effectively while maintaining strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable providing onsite services in a school environment.

Work Schedule and Benefits:
