Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students in the Greensboro, NC area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role begins August 26, 2026, and extends through June 10, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week spent providing meaningful intervention alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Candidates in this position will provide vital speech and language services on-site to an assigned caseload across various school campuses. Youll develop IEPs, conduct assessments, collaborate with educators and families, and deliver both pull-out and push-in therapy tailored to individual student needs. Flexibility in school assignments and age groups is necessary, with specifics finalized prior to your start date.
Qualifications:
- Current and active SLP license, plus CCC credentials
- All required educator certifications valid in North Carolina
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
- Willingness to work fully on-site
- Availability to complete a prescreen interview, with flexibility between 9-11a and 2-3p EST (specific timing can be arranged)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with school staff
- Deliver individual and group therapy as required
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and parent conferences
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Manage caseload responsibilities, adhering to all district and state regulations
