Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a dedicated speech-language pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position, located near Greensboro, NC, involves serving students within a dynamic educational setting. Your schedule will follow standard school hours, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The specific number of assigned schools and caseload will be determined, offering a unique opportunity to make a widespread impact. The assignment runs from August 26, 2026, through June 10, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active speech-language pathology (SLP) license and current educator certifications.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Experience supporting students in PreK-12 schools is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff.
  • Adaptability and professionalism in a school-based environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and intervention to students as assigned.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address students unique needs.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals.
  • Serve as a resource for teachers and families regarding speech and language strategies.

You will participate in an initial prescreen interview to determine eligibility and fit. Interviews can be scheduled between 9-11 am or 2-3 pm EST, with some schedule flexibility available.
