This onsite role focuses primarily on conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for a caseload of approximately 5070 students, while also offering opportunities for close collaboration with an experienced SLP colleague who specializes in supporting nonverbal life skills students.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Collaborative and flexible approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting detailed speech-language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility
• Developing individualized recommendations and educational supports based on assessment findings
• Collaborating closely with another SLP to support nonverbal and life skills students
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
• Communicating progress and strategies with teachers, staff, and families
