A travel opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student needs in a school setting located in Green Valley, AZ. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will apply your specialized skills to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in children and adolescents. The position requires flexibility and adaptability as you provide services across various school sites within the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions and progress in compliance with school policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings is preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to travel and provide services at multiple school locations within the Green Valley area
