Job Description
Step into a dynamic school-based environment, supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite opportunity spans across multiple school sites, providing direct services to a caseload of about 40 elementary-aged students. Work collaboratively with educational teams, families, and other specialists to foster communication development and make a positive impact on each childs academic journey.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
- Active ASHA certification and license
- Valid South Carolina LLR and SC Educator Certificate required
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services onsite to elementary students
- Perform evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs in the classroom
- Provide consultation and resources for staff and families to enhance student success
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
Position Details:
- Contract from July 27, 2026, to May 28, 2027
- 3537.5 hours per week (7:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.)
- Single location support across multiple schools, exclusively onsite
