Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology
- Ability to travel to schools within the district
- Competency in assessing and treating a variety of speech and language disorders common in school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
Location: Grayson, Louisiana (Travel to schools within the district as required)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Participate in meetings and consultations with teachers, parents, and school administrators
- Comply with all state and federal regulations related to special education and therapy services
