In this position, you will provide direct speech and language therapy to a small caseload of nine students. Collaboration with educators and families is essential, ensuring comprehensive care. The school district values both experienced SLPs and strong Clinical Fellows, providing a welcoming setting for professionals dedicated to student progress.

What youll need:

• A valid Illinois SLP license and active PEL (Professional Educator License)
• Willingness to provide verifiable proof of licensure using the states online verification tools
• Experience working with K-2 students preferred; strong CFs encouraged to apply
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed but not mandatory for Clinical Fellows
• Commitment to delivering onsite services only
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech and language therapy to a small group of early elementary students
• Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress summaries
• Engage positively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Attend and participate in new hire orientation (8/12-8/14)
