Job Description

You'll be working onsite, closely engaging with a manageable caseload of nine students and collaborating with educators within a supportive school community. The role is part-time, offering a consistent weekly schedule of seven hoursideal for those balancing multiple commitments or seeking to gain valuable school-based experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Professional Educator License (PEL)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience or interest in working with K-2 students in a school-based setting
  • Commitment to supporting students with special education needs
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Availability to participate in New Hire Orientation from August 12th to 14th
  • Ability to work onsite for the duration of the contract

Role responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to K-2 students according to individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, document, and report student progress
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to ensure holistic support
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing professional development
  • Uphold ethical and state-mandated standards for practice
