Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist working onsite with a passionate educational team near Grass Valley, CA. You will play a meaningful role in the lives of approximately 55 Pre-K and elementary students, utilizing your clinical skills to help each child reach their communication and learning goals.

Your expertise will support a diverse caseload, making a lasting impact in a supportive school environment with approximately 37.5 hours per week. With a focus on collaboration and student-centered care, youll work alongside teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive, individualized services.

Qualifications:

  • Active California SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience with pediatric and/or school settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop targeted treatment plans for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to Pre-K and elementary students
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for caseload
  • Support IEP development and participate in meetings as a key clinical partner
  • Provide classroom strategies and training to promote student success
