Qualifications & Skills:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current SLP license, or eligibility, for practice within South Carolina
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered
• Experience with evaluation, diagnosis, and therapy for a variety of communication disorders in school-aged children
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
• Collaborative spirit, with a focus on student progress and individualized supports

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational staff or parents
• Develop personalized therapy plans based on evaluation results and IEP team collaboration
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in individual and small group settings
• Maintain detailed records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise and advocacy for students communication needs
• Provide support and consultation to classroom teachers and families for carry-over of communication strategies
