Desired Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates considered
- Experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders of students as assigned
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student learning and progress
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals for students receiving speech-language services
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, evaluations, and treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
- Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed
