Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Michigan SLP license and current ASHA CCC (or CFY with supervision)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create a welcoming and effective therapy environment for diverse learners

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate therapy records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
