Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5 in Grand Rapids, MI. This contract position provides the chance to work in person with young learners in a supportive school environment, with the option to consider part-time applicants as well. The role extends through the remainder of the current school year.

Responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans targeting communication, articulation, voice, fluency, and language skills Collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student progress Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with school district and state guidelines Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities when available

Preferred qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary-age children (grades K-5) Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt therapy plans to meet diverse student needs Comfort working in an educational setting following school policies and procedures
