Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Active or eligible state licensure for speech-language pathology
  • Experience or strong interest working with K-12 populations in school settings
  • Familiarity with IEP process and therapy documentation standards
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to address each students unique challenges
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions via individual and group interventions
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress and IEP requirements
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings as required
  • Provide consultation and training to staff and parents as needed
