Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Active or eligible state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Experience or strong interest working with K-12 populations in school settings
- Familiarity with IEP process and therapy documentation standards
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to address each students unique challenges
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions via individual and group interventions
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation on student progress and IEP requirements
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure holistic student support
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and staff meetings as required
- Provide consultation and training to staff and parents as needed
