This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist experienced in pediatric and school-based practice. Youll work at an elementary school, engaging with students who have a wide range of behavioral and developmental needs. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these young learners achieve their potential as the school year begins.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Active Michigan SLP license required, with ability to work independently (no supervision provided)
  • Completion of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based and pediatric settings highly desired
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills with staff, students, and parents
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Comfort supporting a variety of behavioral and educational challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and language needs
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and family members to support student goals
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
  • Maintain comprehensive records in line with district and state requirements
  • Provide education and resources to classroom staff as needed
