Youll provide assessment, diagnosis, and specialized therapy services to children, collaborating with educators and other professionals to create individualized plans that enable each student to reach their potential.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for strong Clinical Fellows
- Prior experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is highly desirable
- Solid grasp of IEP creation and implementation processes
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with communication challenges
- Develop and deliver therapy tailored to each childs individualized education plan (IEP)
- Document student progress, maintaining required compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families as needed
