Your deep understanding of pediatric speech and language development will help students reach their fullest potential in both classroom settings and one-on-one sessions. Desired Skills and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Assess students speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapeutic programs
- Collaborate with teachers and IEP teams to support students academic and social progress
- Provide direct intervention, group sessions, and consultative services
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate actively with parents regarding students progress and goals
