Job Description

Make a difference in students lives by providing speech and language support to elementary learners in a vibrant school setting. This contract opportunity is in person and runs through the end of the school year, serving Grades K-5. Full-time hours (37.5 per week) are available, but flexible arrangements can be discussed for part-time applicants who are passionate about helping children excel.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
  • Active speech-language pathology license for the state
  • Experience or comfort working with elementary-aged children (K-5)
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and therapy techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary school students in person
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document services provided
  • Support a range of diverse communication needs in a supportive, inclusive environment
  • Foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and growth
  • Provide guidance to teachers and staff regarding speech and language concerns
