Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license for the state of Michigan
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience in a school environment is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students presenting a range of speech and language needs, including general education and students on the autism spectrum
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based setting
  • Develop individualized intervention plans for each student, targeting identified needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents to support student success
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy to students and consultative support to classroom staff
  • Travel to a single school per dayno bouncing between sites; all schools are in close proximity
