Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Experience in a school setting highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative spirit for multidisciplinary teamwork
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Contribute to IEP meetings and student planning sessions
- Promote a positive, inclusive environment for all learners
