Job Description

Take the next step in your Speech-Language Pathology career in a fulfilling contract role serving dedicated students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity offers varied, meaningful work providing direct services to both preschool and high school students, supporting their communication growth and academic success over approximately 30 hours per week. The assignment is onsite and will involve travel between locations to deliver services where theyre needed most.

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and valid Louisiana SLP License
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in school settings with diverse student populations
  • Familiarity with both preschool and adolescent SLP needs
  • Flexibility and comfort traveling between different school sites
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to preschool and high school students
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student goals
  • Maintain records and report on student outcomes in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Adjust therapy approaches to best fit individual student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team collaboration as required
