Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly valued
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for elementary-aged learners
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite speech and language therapy to students, focusing on individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Conduct assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with teachers, special education team members, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation per district and compliance standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and insights for student growth
