Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students communication and language development in a vibrant school setting. This full-time, onsite position runs from late August through May, with consistent hours from 9:00am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday. Youll play a vital role in empowering learners and collaborating with educational teams to create positive outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong collaborative and communication abilities in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Flexibility to work with a varied caseload, with specific assignments determined before start
  • Dedication to supporting diverse student populations and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Comfortable working fully onsite

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students unique needs
  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services in both individual and group formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain clear, concise documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and student support team sessions as needed
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in the field
