Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment near Graham, NC. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 18, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and offers the chance to work exclusively onsite providing essential speech and language services across multiple school locations. Youll play a pivotal role supporting students communication skills, helping them achieve their potential throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is a must
- Prior experience in a school setting (K-12) preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Comfortable managing a diverse caseload across multiple school sites
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation according to school and state guidelines
- Travel between school locations within the district during the workweek
- Serve as a resource for staff on speech-language strategies and interventions
