Seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract position supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Graceville, FL. In this role, youll work onsite, collaborating with school teams to help students across a range of ages enhance their communication abilities and succeed in the classroom. You will enjoy consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students as assigned
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to implement effective communication strategies
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide input for IEP development
- Adapt therapy approaches to best serve individual students needs
- May serve multiple schools within the district, with caseload and age groups to be determined
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active and valid FL SLP license
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for caseload management
