Step into an exciting opportunity supporting preschool and child find programs as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming onsite school environment near Goodyear, AZ. This full-time contract position begins in early August and runs through the end of May, making a meaningful difference for students from the very start of the academic year.
As a vital part of the team, youll work collaboratively to identify and support young learners through comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy services. Caseloads are structured to balance evaluation and therapy needs, with variations depending on assignmenta dynamic setting where your expertise truly matters.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid and current State SLP license
- Active SLP Educator Certificate
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (current)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based settings, especially with preschool or early childhood populations, preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments as part of Child Find activities
- Provide direct therapy to preschool students, tailoring intervention to individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Participate in ongoing program development and staff meetings
