This rewarding position will have you working 35 hours per week at a site supporting children from ages 3 through 5th grade with a wide range of communication exceptionalities. Engage in meaningful therapy, collaborate with educators, and help students reach their fullest potential this school year.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Louisiana SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students ages 3 through 5th grade
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for referred students
• Collect and analyze data to guide therapy interventions and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional staff to develop and implement IEPs
• Prepare detailed and compliant IEP documentation based on evaluation findings
• Consult and communicate proactively with families, sharing student progress and strategies
• Attend and participate in team meetings, maintaining clear and timely records
