Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible SLP license for the state
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience (PreK-3rd preferred)
- Knowledgeable in IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a small caseload with focus and compassion
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to PreK3rd grade students, including a Head Start classroom, at a single school site
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and objectives
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely records and progress notes
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and contribute to eligibility decisions
- Participate in team meetings (admin time is offered) with flexibility for both direct and indirect hours
- Utilize provided training and resources, with dedicated therapy space on campus
- Attend virtual interviews (Zoom) with the opportunity for an immediate offer
