Job Description

A healthcare-focused speech-language pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Soledad Unified, CA, offering a contract role beginning April 1, 2026. This position involves working full-time, five days a week (37.5 hours), providing vital speech and language support services within a school setting. The caseload includes approximately 45-50 students ranging in age and needs, supported by district supervision staff such as paraprofessionals or RBTs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students in a school environment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
  • Collaborate regularly with educational staff and caregivers to optimize student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to district and licensure guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary education planning.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in schools or healthcare settings.
  • Competency in assessment and treatment of a diverse caseload of speech and language disorders.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
