Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active New Mexico (NM) Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with students across Elementary, Middle, and High School settings
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and growth-oriented classroom atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized educational and therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student goals
  • Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
