Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, making a significant difference in the lives of K-5 students at a single school site. This role, beginning ASAP and continuing through May 22, 2025, offers the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload averaging 55 students, allowing for meaningful connections and impactful interventions.
Ideal candidates bring their CCC credentials and experience in school-based settingsplease note, this position is not available to CFYs or SLPAs. Your expertise will help shape educational journeys and support students in reaching their full communication potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Speech Language Pathologist License
- Arizona Department of Health SLP License
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, or ability to obtain and maintain
- Recent experience in school-based SLP roles
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
- Conduct thorough screenings, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, and language challenges
- Interpret findings to recommend effective interventions, validate external evaluation recommendations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; design individualized therapy programs
- Collaborate with educators to support student progress and facilitate referrals
- Engage with families, offering support and information
- Maintain comprehensive records for each student; contribute as needed to additional school initiatives
