Job Description

This role, beginning ASAP and continuing through May 22, 2025, offers the chance to work closely with a manageable caseload averaging 55 students, allowing for meaningful connections and impactful interventions.

Ideal candidates bring their CCC credentials and experience in school-based settingsplease note, this position is not available to CFYs or SLPAs. Your expertise will help shape educational journeys and support students in reaching their full communication potential.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Arizona Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Arizona Department of Health SLP License
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, or ability to obtain and maintain
  • Recent experience in school-based SLP roles
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students, tailoring interventions to individual needs
  • Conduct thorough screenings, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, and language challenges
  • Interpret findings to recommend effective interventions, validate external evaluation recommendations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs; design individualized therapy programs
  • Collaborate with educators to support student progress and facilitate referrals
  • Engage with families, offering support and information
  • Maintain comprehensive records for each student; contribute as needed to additional school initiatives
