This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, working onsite to support students communication goals. The district values experience with school-based SLP roles, particularly within California, and welcomes SLP professionals who are bilingual in Spanish. Qualifications:
- Active California SLP license required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working as a school-based SLP, ideally within California
- Spanish-English bilingual candidates highly desired
- Background in direct services and conducting assessments within school settings
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and school assignments throughout the district
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and help develop IEP goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and communication
- Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies for supporting students
- Assist with documentation, progress monitoring, and ongoing communication with school staff
