Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • State licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with pediatric or school-aged populations
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date therapy notes and progress reports as required by the district
  • Provide resources and support for families and educators to facilitate student progress and generalization of skills
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise throughout the process
  • Foster a motivating, compassionate environment that encourages student engagement and growth
