This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to work with students in grades 612, providing essential assessment and therapy services. Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania
- Certification as an SLP required
- Experience working in Pennsylvania schools is highly desirable
- Willingness to work with both middle and high school students (grades 612)
- Ability to perform assessments and provide direct therapy
- Comfortable participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Clinical fellows are welcome and will receive mentorship and support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted interventions
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy to help students achieve communication goals
- Maintain required documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and other related service providers
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, providing recommendations and supporting student success
