Job Description

Enjoy a full-time schedule with 35 hours per week for the 26-27 school year, with consideration for those seeking part-time flexibility. Caseloads range in age from 3 to 21, and efforts will be made to align your age group preference to your strengths. This is an in-person role within a specialized school committed to meeting the unique communication needs of its students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid NY SLP license
  • New York Teaching Certificate (TSSH or TSSLD)
  • Active Medicaid/OPRA and NPI numbers
  • SLP-CCC, CFY, or commensurate school-based SLP background
  • Experience or strong interest in serving students with Autism
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat communication disorders within a school-based population
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in cooperation with other educators and families
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in school meetings and trainings as needed
