Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working onsite with K-12 students throughout the academic year. As a district-wide Speech-Language Pathologist, you will support multiple school locations, delivering direct services throughout the Gettysburg area and neighboring communities. This position offers a diverse caseload spanning kindergarten through grade twelve, making each day both engaging and meaningful.

You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams to help students overcome challenges and communicate confidently. Your expertise will play a central role in fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment for every child.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (SLP Cert)
  • Active PA Teaching Certification (must submit with resume)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP settings strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with onsite, in-person service; virtual options are not available at this time
  • Adaptability working across multiple school sites within a district
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for K-12 students according to individual education plans
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and other related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Position Details:

  • August 18, 2026 May 27, 2027
  • 35 hours each week, following the school calendar
  • District-wide support, servicing various campuses
