In this position, you'll collaborate closely with educators and support staff onsite, utilizing your specialized skills to foster communication and language development in learners across all grade levels. With consistent weekday hours totaling 35 hours per week, you'll experience a balanced schedule within an energetic and supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (required upon application)
- Experience working with K-12 school-aged populations preferred
- Exceptional communication abilities and adaptability
- Dedication to integrating best practices in speech, language, and communication interventions
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload, documentation, and progress tracking
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students across all grades, focusing on both individual needs and group interventions
- Conduct evaluations, develop goals, write IEPs, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
