Job Description

Make an impact this school year as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, working directly with K-12 students to support their communication and educational success. This rewarding contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, at a dedicated learning center near Gettysburg, PA. What you will need to succeed:

  • Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification
  • Valid Teaching Certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students in a school environment
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to provide assessments, therapy, and counseling for a diverse student population
  • Skill in documentation, progress monitoring, and goal setting

What youll be doing:

  • Delivering direct therapy to students across the full K-12 spectrum
  • Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Conducting screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of services
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions
  • Maintaining thorough and timely progress notes
  • Advocating for students communication needs within the school setting
