Make an impact this school year as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, working directly with K-12 students to support their communication and educational success. This rewarding contract opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, to May 28, 2027, at a dedicated learning center near Gettysburg, PA. What you will need to succeed:
- Active Pennsylvania SLP Certification
- Valid Teaching Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students in a school environment
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to provide assessments, therapy, and counseling for a diverse student population
- Skill in documentation, progress monitoring, and goal setting
What youll be doing:
- Delivering direct therapy to students across the full K-12 spectrum
- Creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Conducting screenings and evaluations to identify students in need of services
- Utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions
- Maintaining thorough and timely progress notes
- Advocating for students communication needs within the school setting
