Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving preschool-aged children with special education needs in the Adams County region. You'll work within the New Oxford and Gettysburg areas, supporting students from ages 3 to 5 in an itinerant role across various sites. This position is dedicated to helping young learners achieve their communication goals while collaborating with supportive educators and families.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
- Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Experience working in school or preschool settings preferred
- Passion for engaging early learners with diverse communication needs
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to preschool students
- Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Travel itinerantly within the Adams County region, primarily in New Oxford and Gettysburg
- Collaborate closely with educators, support personnel, and families
- Maintain timely documentation with dedicated paperwork time scheduled weekly
- Utilize provided technology (laptop, iPad, and lesson planning subscriptions) and therapy materials
