Job Description

This contract position is for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a K-5 public school setting in George, WA. The role involves providing typical SLP duties, including speech and language assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and delivering therapy services to students. The position runs from August 20th through the end of the school year, with a 37.5-hour workweek.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
  • Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and compliance with district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathology license
  • ESA Teaching Certificate
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
