What you'll need:

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in New York (NY SLP License)
• Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certification
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior school-based SLP experience preferred (especially with elementary populations)
• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students, both individually and in groups
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers and other specialists
• Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Consult with families, teachers, and support staff to address student needs
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive, student-centered environment
