Positioned within a welcoming educational community, you will serve two elementary buildings (K-5), helping students overcome communication barriers and achieve their full academic potential.
Your expertise will be applied in a collaborative and supportive environment, working alongside dedicated teachers, administrators, and families. Both experienced SLPs with their CCCs and motivated Clinical Fellows seeking supervision are strongly encouraged to bring their unique skills to this engaging academic setting.
Key Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for state licensure in Indiana
- Experience or interest in pediatric and school-based populations
- Familiarity with IEP development and school documentation practices
- Commitment to completing background check and fingerprinting prior to onboarding
- Teletherapy experience or willingness to adapt to virtual services as needed
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Manage a caseload of 6080 K5 students across two nearby elementary buildings
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Complete comprehensive documentation and IEP processes
- Engage in paid administrative time and team meetings
- Collaborate closely with educational team members and families
- Utilize paid travel time for building-to-building itinerant support
