Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working with young learners as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an engaging, supportive educational environment for the 20262027 school year. Specialize in serving elementary and Head Start students, using your expertise to empower children at two onsite locations. This full-time contract opportunity includes a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students, allowing you to deliver focused and individualized attention.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas SLP License required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required
  • Prior experience working in school-based settings and/or with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing IEP goals, and managing related documentation
  • Strong organization, collaboration, and communication abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students at both elementary and Head Start locations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plan (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services, tailored to individual needs
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate closely with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, consultations, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
